Quotes & Notes (“the app”, “we”) is designed to be privacy-first: the information you put in stays on your own device. We do not run servers that collect your data, we do not use advertising, and we never sell your information.
Your jobs, quotes, invoices, notes, client details, business details, photos, measurements and receipts are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. If you turn on device sync, that data is synced through your own private Apple iCloud account so it appears on your other Apple devices. We cannot see it.
The app asks for permission to use your camera and photo library only so you can add photos to a job or snap a receipt, and your contacts only so you can pull a client’s details into a quote. These are used on-device for those features alone — nothing is uploaded to us.
If you choose to connect an accounting package (an Advanced-plan feature), you sign in directly with that provider. When you send an invoice, the relevant invoice and customer details are transmitted to your Xero or QuickBooks account on your instruction. That data is then handled under their privacy policies (Xero, Intuit/QuickBooks). We store the secure access tokens for these connections on your device only.
Subscriptions and the free trial are managed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details — Apple handles all billing.
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. We do not build a profile of you or share data with data brokers.
Quotes & Notes is a business tool intended for tradespeople and is not directed at children under 13.
Because your data lives on your device, you remove it by deleting the relevant items in the app or by deleting the app. Disconnecting an accounting provider removes its stored access tokens from your device.
